Positioning your ads in the right place is a good thing, but no one will ever know where is the best place. It mostly depends on your website's design. According to most gurus, righ below the article title is a good place to place your ads. The ads should be placed 'above the fold' to get more impression. Your visitors should not need to scroll down to view ads. They may scroll down to read your article or to view your content, but they should see ads in the first impression.
Make the ads look like the content of your website. Make the font sizes, colors and styles are as same as the content of your pages. TIP :- The standard blue color is the best option for the links.
Use small-size pictures which are related to your content, and place them close to the Ads.
